So as a part of my installation video series I have sat down and ran through the whole installation of the Trimble SCS900 v 3.1 emulator. This you cannot download on the Trimble page since it was replaced by the Siteworks Positioning System.
To install the Trimble’s SCS900 v3.1 emulator you need to make sure you have the proper install package. Further, just run the install and follow the prompts, and importantly set up the proper paths.
Utilizing the emulator is great way to check your designs or workorders to get an idea what the operator is seeing in the filed. Also if supporting the field staff its great way to see and follow what they see.
What do you need to run the installation?
To install SCS900 emulator you need the install package, which you can obtain from your Trimble dealer. Installation package is usually one executable file, version v3.1 is about 41MB.
YouTube video – which will walk you through the install process.
