Another release of the Trimble’s field software SCS900 is out and it is version 2.91.
According to the new release notes the update includes several new features. One of them is support for the new SPS985 GNSS smart antenna. There is a new add on module for the SCS900 v2.91 and it is the one we have seen earlier in Business Center – HCE v2.6 and it is called Tunneling module. It has to be purchased as a separate option.
New functions include measure control netwok. It is a part of Advanced Measurement module and it will enable to Enter/Measure Control Points in the System Setup in total station mode. Export of instrument setup DC file was also added which allows user to import this to Business Center – HCE and adjust the networks in the office. Another addition is the export of Star Net.xsl reports which can be imported to the Star Net software for further adjustments. We are now able to select the Reference Line. This works in any stakeout mode except of course stakeout plane. The work order instruction is fully supported in this release.
So lots of updates now we just need to test them out. I am installing this software as I write this so next time in the field if SCS900 v2.91 baby !!!
