Overview

The VisionLink™ solution from Trimble integrates site productivity with asset and fleet management to give you a holistic view of machine status, machine location and project status so you can make the right decision at the right time. VisionLink brings together a range of information including:

• Asset location, hours, and events
• User-defined alerts
• Near real-time compaction pass count, consistency and coverage area maps
• Near real-time surface model elevation, cut/fill maps and progress volumes
• Machine health and maintenance

The web-based VisionLink solution provides integrated production output and asset management information to owners, senior executives, operations managers, equipment managers, maintenance managers, site supervisors and rental equipment managers.

Asset and Fleet Management Subscription Plan

• Continuously monitor your equipment location, hours, utilization, fuel, maintenance and health to minimize service costs and increase up-time
• Monitor ignition on / off events and asset runtime hours to manage maintenance schedules more effectively
• Create site boundaries and generate alerts on equipment entry and exit to reduce theft, ensure compliance with avoidance zones and monitor work hours by project
• Receive reports every 10-minutes containing 1-minute interval data for dispatch, delivery and haul monitoring applications
• Integrate report data into ERP or project management applications to automate data sharing, ensure accuracy and reduce costs

Connected Machine Subscription Plan

• Connect your 3D machine control systems to save time, eliminate downtime, and decrease infrastructure costs
• Deliver Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) corrections to the machine using Trimble Internet Base Station Service (IBSS), Trimble VRS Now™ or other independent VRS networks to increase operational effectiveness

  Earthmoving and Grading

  • Continuously monitor and record 3D earthmoving, grading and finishing operations throughout the life of the project, and use the information to make timely decisions regarding equipment use and deployment
  • Create near real-time 3D surface model, elevation and cut and fill maps to show progress towards completion, eliminate drive time to the site and ensure you have the most current information
  • Accurately capture all work completed including over-excavation and backfill, overfill or surcharge, and cut back operations so you get paid for the extra work you do

  Compaction

  • Continuously monitor pass counts and compaction meter values over the entire area of compaction and on all material layers to improve testing success, reduce rework and lower ongoing maintenance costs
  • Reduce over-compaction to optimize fuel use and machine time, and increase the finished surface quality
  • Ensure uniform lift thicknesses and consistent compaction pass counts and meter values to increase the surface quality and operational life
