Trimble Connected Site®

There was another release which I did not cover in my blog yet.

Trimble is coming out with something called Trimble Connected Site® this includes the wel known products as Trimble® Connected Office, Trimble Connected Controller and Trimble Connected Machine. They are designed to streamline the process of planning, designing all the way to the operation in the field.

Trimble Connected Office is a solution utilizing software and hosted services to create 3D constructions models, data prep, takeoff. All is wirelessly streamed to the machines as well as to the survey gear which increases productivity, also it streams data back to the office to minitor job site performance and progress.

Trimble Connected Controller is a a wireless survey solution for the field crews where that corrections could be streamed via internet. Field crews could receive new design within minutes of their completions as well as they can forward the data back to the office for the engineers to take a look. Minimizing the travel time between the office and the job site.

Trimble Connected Machine utilizes new hardware which is abel to comunicate with the office via internet. Utilizing the Connected Office the models could be easily uploaded to the machines via the internet connection. Machine could stream data back to the office which could be utilized for volume measurements.
